Sit Down!
I spent a lot of time with my grandparents. They were old school. They didn't believe in going by people’s houses to play. You ate before you went anywhere. McDonald's was a special occasion. They had rules that were followed or else. I knew if I heard, “sit down,” I better take a seat. There was no talking back or making faces because that would lead to other consequences. Sit down was their way of keeping me out of harm’s way. It was a warning. It was protection. It was love. Right now. We all need to take a seat. We need to heed the warnings. We need to see God’s love in this situation. Sit Down!
